Cancellation Policy
Transparent cancellation milestones, procedural eligibility criteria, and consumer refund processing terms.
Requesting cancellation
Cancellation requests must be submitted immediately via email to support@easyestamp.in or through the Track Order escalation interface with the valid Order ID and cancellation rationale. A request is deemed cancelled only after written confirmation is issued by our operations desk.
Pre-drafting cancellation window
If a cancellation request is received before legal drafting has commenced or third-party verification has started, a 100% refund of the service fee is initiated within 2 to 3 business days.
Post-drafting restrictions
Once custom drafting is completed and shared with the customer for review, the drafting service fee is non-refundable. However, any unspent government stamp duty or physical delivery fees remain refundable.
Non-cancellable e-Stamp milestone
Once stamp duty is remitted and the physical e-Stamp certificate is generated from the respective state revenue portal or Stock Holding Corporation of India (SHCIL), it becomes legally immutable. Under the Indian Stamp Act, 1899, generated stamp certificates cannot be cancelled or refunded through our platform.
Refund processing & banking timelines
Approved refunds are credited to the original payment source (UPI, Debit/Credit Card, or Net Banking) within 5 to 7 business banking days in accordance with RBI guidelines.
