e-Stamp Paper Online in Delhi
In Delhi, non-judicial stamp duty is collected through e-Stamp. A 2015 circular of the Delhi Revenue Department directs Collectors of Stamps to collect stamp duty through e-Stamp only.
e-Stamp certificates in Delhi are issued through StockHolding Corporation of India (SHCIL), the Central Record Keeping Agency, at its Authorised Collection Centres and online. You can order through us: tell us the document and the duty, and we deliver the certificate.
How e-Stamp works in Delhi
- SHCIL's Authorised Collection Centres across Delhi issue e-Stamps for all purposes. The Delhi Revenue Department publishes the list of e-Stamp vendors for amounts below ₹500, and of collection centres and bank branches.
- Larger amounts are paid at designated bank branches and SHCIL offices, according to the SHCIL public notice on the Delhi Revenue Department's website.
- Delhi is among the states where SHCIL allows citizens to pay online and print the e-Stamp certificate.
- Before we release a certificate to you, our team looks up its number on the official verification system and records that check.
Check that your certificate is genuine
- Open the StockHolding e-Stamping website (shcilestamp.com) and choose “Verify e-Stamp”.
- Enter the state, the certificate number, the article number and the date of issue exactly as printed on your certificate.
- Check that every detail shown matches the printed certificate: names, stamp duty amount, purpose and date. Any mismatch means the certificate should not be relied on.
